I've been meaning to update for a while. There's some important news I've left out :( - things will get back to normal after my SATs in May.

TGUTL Cancelled, BUT...
Sad news. The TGUTL was cancelled, BUT in it's place I've signed us up for Clanbase.com UK UT Ladder that we can ALL (who've got UT) play. You don't have to be in the UK either. We've already played our first match for it, and have two coming up (see below for details).

First Clanbase.com Game
On 23rd March, TMC played their first UK UT Clanbase.com Ladder game against 4th Dimension (4D). Unforunatly, we did not realise how good they were (5th in CTF!), and lost a dissapointing 150-10! But it was good practice, and a friendly match! We'll be ready for the next ones...

New Members & Name Changes
This time I introduce TMC_MatrixAgent, TMC_AgentSmith, TMC_-l-Z3K3-l-, TMC_white_rabbit, TMC_darkangel, TMC_BobTheNailer, TMC_Charger TMC_StEalTh and TMC_aj blue to The Matrix Clan.

Also TMC_Jedi2000 has become TMC_Horror.

TMC Divisions And New Member Database
We have recently changed our member system and divided it into two divisions: United States (US) and Europe (Euro). People not in either category will join the division of their choice. These divisions apply to existing members and new ones who join.

Also, we now have the new TMC Member Database web page, instead of the old Excel file. This means people who don't have Excel or don't want to download anything can view it right here on the site. The Excel file will no longer be updated.

We have recently registered at Clanman.com so we can bring more services to TMC. We hope to have a copy of the site running at http://tmc.clanman.com - but the site will be here too......for now! Stay tuned for more news on the Clanman.com change.....

We also have a new background in place which I think looks much better and 'Matrixy'.

New Forum Reminder!
Just to remind you that TMC_ph34r3d (formally TMC_DigitalFX) set up the new TMC Forum (where you can post messages for the clan, about the clan, about Quake 3, Half-life, challenge TMC, and a lot more!) a short while back, but you guys don't seem to be using it, nor the TMC Chat Room - so get in there and get typing! If you want access to the members only section on the forum just e-mail me at tmc_morpheus@hotmail.com and give me your member name, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Go see the forum and chat the room now by clicking either 'TMC Forum' or 'TMC Chat Room' on the left sidebar.

The Matrix Clan Latest Notices!
Latest clan practice news: Our practices our currently suspended until the next Quake 3 patch (1.27) becomes the main patch on most servers. The Quake 3 1.27 patch is available now. Some matches go on using the 1.17 patch for now. A notice will appear here when this is all sorted.
But when it's sorted we'll have new practice times. We will be practicing at 4pm GMT (that's 11am EST; 8am PST; 5pm Euro Time) on Sundays and 8pm GMT (that's 3pm EST; 12noon PST; 9pm Euro Time) on Fridays. They will be a world-wide practice for our members all over the world. Meeting will be in the new Matrix Clan chat room, then off to a fast server. If you are not a member, come along and if you're good enough you could join! Secondly, there's the new e-mail address to contact TMC - tmc_morpehus@hotmail.com. I recommend all TMC members get Hotmail accounts like this (with TMC_ at the front) so we can instant message each other with MSN Instant Messaging. Please tell me if you do! Lastly, I've registered TMC on Westwood Battle Clans List. So if you have Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (inc. Firestorm) head to http://battleclans.westwood.com/tibsun and join T-M-C or The-Matrix-Clan. Then when you play an online game next to your Westwood Online Name, will be [T-M-C], which, when you move your mouse over it, will say 'The-Matrix-Clan'! More news soon...
